How do I help by 'adopting a horse'?

Guinness

When you adopt a horse you will be helping that horse throughout his or her special treatment at World Horse Welfare. The money you give will help pay for all the every day things that your adopted horse needs, such as; hay, shoes, rugs, tack, feed, medication and physiotherapy etc. The horse stays at the World Horse Welfare farm and is cared for by World Horse Welfare staff but you are welcome to visit your adopted horse as often as you’d like to, on the days that the farm is open to visitors (see Visit Us section). Without help from great supporters like you these horses wouldn’t be able to receive the special care they need.
